Chests with Curved Lids

Chests are some of the oldest pieces of furniture. People stored belongings in chests that they wanted to move from one place to another. These are small chests. If you visit the exhibition, you will also see large chests. Chests, trunks and boxes with locks were popular first in Spain, then in Mexico.
