1. Students will start with a ball of clay. |

2. Then they will push their thumb into the center. |  |
| 3. They will begin to pinch up the walls |
|
4. They will turn the ball as they go to keep the sides an even thickness. |  |
|
|
5. Once the clay pot is fired, students can paint on it with water colors |
